What got me into CrossFit? I have always enjoyed being physically active and working out since high school by running and lifting weights. My husband started CrossFit after we moved to Michigan, but I was too nervous to join. After my friends opened their gym, they promised it would be great and they would be easy on me and I haven’t looked back since! I love how it is different every day and we are like family there and not just members.
What do I love most about coaching? I love being able to share my passion for health and fitness with my friends and anyone looking for a change. Most people are intimidated by CrossFit when first starting, but I love showing them no matter where they are on their journey, you can be successful here at the gym. Hearing members “why” on why they come to pursue their health journey keeps me motivated to learn new things and improve my coaching skills for them.
Favorite workout: I don’t have a favorite written workout, but I love long chippers or long AMRAP’s. Some of my favorite movements I would like to see are Rope Climbs, Hang Power Cleans, Hand Stand Pushups and a short run like 200m.
